Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions govern all bookings with www.villalavandabrac.com

Any booking made or placed by you, whether through this website or otherwise, shall be deemed an offer by you to rent the relevant accommodation subject to these terms & conditions.  The person who makes the booking accepts these conditions on behalf of all members of the party and is responsible for all payment due from the party. 

Booking services  are currently only available to persons who are least 18 years old. 

By submitting a booking you warrant and confirm to us that you have read these terms & Conditions and agree to comply with them.

TERMS OF PAYMENT

In order to confirm your booking, a deposit of 50% of the total cost of rental (or full payment if booking within 30 days of departure) must be paid at the time of booking.  Payments should be made by bank transfer.  Booking confirmation for the accommodation will be sent to you by email . 

The balance of the cost of the property you have booked (as shown on your booking confirmation letter) must be received by us no later than 30 days before the commencement date of your stay at that property. 

If we do not receive all payments due in full and on time, we reserve the right to treat your booking as cancelled by you.  In this case the cancellation charges set out below (cancellation by client) will be payable by you.

CANCELLATION BY THE CLIENT

If you wish to cancel your booking for whatever reason, the party leader must notify us in writing in the first instance to:

Cancellation of the accommodation will only be effective from the date of receipt, by us, of your written cancellation advice. If you cancel, once your booking has been confirmed, the following conditions apply: 

cancellations can only be made 60 days or more before your arrival at the property for your deposit is refunded.

Once final payment has been made, no refunds can be issued.

Travel Insurance is strongly recommended.

CANCELLATION BY VILLA LAVANDA

Your booking will not be cancelled by the owner except in exceptional circumstances beyond our control. Notification will be given of the cancellation as soon as possible and we will promptly refund all payments made for your holiday. Our liability for cancellation will be limited to payments made to us. 

BEHAVIOUR 

Our accommodation is in a residential area and, while we expect you to enjoy your holiday and the outdoor dining/pool activities, we ask you to respect your neighbours and act in a courteous and considerate manner at all times.

This is also a country/working community and ‘bedtime’ for the locals is not late.  Please therefore keep noise to a minimum after 11pm.

It is your responsibility to ensure that you and the members of your party do not behave in a way which causes offence or danger to others or which risks damage to property belonging to others. In such circumstances, the accommodation owner’s have the right to terminate arrangements made on your behalf, in which case Villa Lavanda’s responsibility to you ceases immediately and there can be no refunds, no payment of compensation and no reimbursement of any cost or expenses you may incur as a result. Further, you will be liable to reimburse the Company for any expenses whatsoever it incurs as a result of your behaviour.

YOUR COMMITMENT TO US

Only those persons named on the booking form, may use and stay at the property booked. In the event that the maximum number allowed at the property is exceeded, without our prior agreement, we reserve the right to terminate the booking immediately of the party in question. 

It is your responsibility to advise us immediately of any delays to your travel arrangement. 

You must ensure the property is left fully secure whenever vacant – doors, windows and shutters must be properly closed and locked. No responsibility can be taken for any items stolen from you during your holiday and you should ensure you have adequate insurance for all occupants of the property. 

At the end of your holiday you must leave the property, furnishings and equipment in a clean and tidy condition and in the same condition it was in when you arrived.

PLEASE NOTE: THERE IS A NO SMOKING POLICY INSIDE ALL PROPERTIES.

The client must report to the owner without delay any defects in the property or breakdown in the equipment, services or appliances in the property. Arrangements for repair and/or replacement will be made as rapidly as possible. 

Any complaints not reported to us at the time and only reported after the client has returned from holiday will not be considered by the proprietor. 

At the end of their holiday, the clients bind and oblige themselves to vacate the said cottages without demand.

OUR COMMITMENT TO YOU

We will provide you with accommodation that is, as much as possible, described accurately in our literature or on our website. 

All self-catering accommodation is equipped with sufficient crockery and cutlery.  All properties have a refrigerator and cooking facilities.  All linen (except beach towels) is provided. 

The cost of water and electricity is included in the rental price. 

If you have requested a cot or high chair, these will be available to you on arrival at your accommodation. 

Possession of the property will not normally be earlier than 3pm on the day of arrival and departure no later than 10am on the day of departure, unless by arrangement.  This allows us adequate time between bookings to ensure we can prepare the accommodation to meet the standards we expect our clients to receive. 

If you do require additional time in the property, we will try as much as possible to help with your request.

Swimming pool 
-The swimming pool is open from 9 am to 8pm daily. Please respect these timings out of respect for our neighbours. 
-Please avoid using glass or sharp objects near the pool. Suitable glasses have been provided for each property 
-Guests must shower before entering the water to rinse off creams and makeup.

Guests are responsible for the safety and security of their children at all times. Never leave children without adult supervision.

Please park your vehicles in the designated parking space, ensuring cars do not block access to other properties. Parking is limited to 1 vehicle.  

Your vehicles and their accessories and contents are left entirely at your own risk.  

Please respect the community and try to keep noise levels to a minimum, especially between 11 pm and 8 am. 

This property is privately owned and is our home. We expect all guests to enjoy the facilities and treat the property with the same respect that they would with their own house.

The owner shall not be liable for any temporary defect or malfunction of any equipment, machinery or appliance in the building, grounds or pool. 

No compensation will be given for any temporary outage of electricity, gas, water, internet connection or television service 

AIR-CONDITIONING

The air-conditioning units must only be used while you are in the property, with all windows and doors kept closed. Under no circumstances must the units be left on continuously while the property is unoccupied.

INSECTS, PETS AND WILDLIFE

Please remember you are in a hot country and particularly in the summer months, ants, beetles and mosquitoes are common and can be a nuisance but are easily deterred by powders and sprays that can be purchased locally.

In some areas, dogs may bark at night and cats can be a nuisance. Please do not, therefore, encourage them by leaving food out for them. We do not allow pets in any of our properties.

TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS

It is your responsibility to advise us immediately of any delays to your travel arrangements.

It is your responsibility to arrange for air travel and car hire for your holiday.

We cannot be held responsible for any delays or cancellations to these arrangements..

PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK THAT YOUR PASSPORT IS IN ORDER!

TRAVEL INSURANCE

It is your responsibility to ensure that you have adequate travel insurance in place.

LIABILITY

We do not accept any liability in respect of death, bodily injury or illness of any of the named parties on the booking form or any of their guests except when caused by negligent acts and or omissions of the company. We shall afford every assistance to any guest who, through misadventure, suffers illness, bodily injury or death whilst on holiday with us.
